Obituary of Mary Lou Hampton

Mary Lou Morgan Hampton, 77 of Walton, KY passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017. Mary Lou was a retired administrative assistant at Proctor & Gamble. "Woo" as her grandchildren affectionately called her, was a member of Walton Christian Church and also the Boone County Homemakers Club. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and gardening, but most of all, she loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary Lou is preceded in death by her mother, Sue Morgan and a son, Michael Hampton. Mary Lou is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Julian "Wayne" Hampton, daughters, Kimberly Palmer (Lance), Melissa Sauer (Ben), sisters, Julia Sprong, Carol Allman, Kathy Gross, grandchildren, Ryan Palmer (Lauren), Jennifer Brown (Matthew), Jillian Savory (Ben), Jordan Hampton, Jacob Sauer, Emma Sauer, great-grandchildren, Nolan and Olivia Palmer, Harrison Brown and Piper Savory. Services for Mary Lou will be at Walton Christian Church, 50 South Main St., Walton, KY 41094 on Saturday, June 10, 2017. Visitation will be from 11 AM till 1 PM with the funeral service immediately following at 1 PM. Memorial donations are suggested to: Walton Christian Church or American Lung Association, 55 W. Wacker Drive, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601.
