Obituary of Al Jean Sparks

Al Jean Sparks, age 86, of Walton, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Gallatin Nursing and Rehabilitation.  She was retired from Levi Strauss Company and a member of Beaver Lick Christian Church.  Jean enjoyed sewing, crafts, sports and spending time with her nieces and nephews.  Her sister, Eunice Sparks and brothers, Martin Sparks, Jack Sparks, and Melvin Sparks all preceded her in death.  She is survived by her sisters, Margaret Tingle and Mary Lou Perry and many nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be Monday from 12 noon to 2 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Walton.  Interment will be at Beaver Lick Christian Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to South Fork Christian Church, 14896 S Fork Church Rd, Verona, KY 41092.  Online condolences may be expressed to www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
