Lavera Jean Sizemore, of Walton, KY passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the age of 84. She was born in Shirley, IN on August 11, 1933; the daughter of the late Chester and Alice Wright. Lavera was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Walton and loved to paint and do yard work. She was a retired seamstress at Sizemore Manufacturing and a teacher at the art studio in Walton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Laverne and brother Garrell. Lavera is survived by her loving husband of 65 years Charles Sizemore; daughter, Debbie (Larry) Roe; granddaughter, Lindsay (Keith) Pennington; brothers, Alvin (Ann) and Ronald (Sylvia) Wright; as well as many other relatives and friends.

A visitation for Lavera will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM on Monday, February 5, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Walton 47 S Main St, Walton, KY 41094. Burial will be at Floral Hills Memorial Garden in Taylor Mill, KY.

Memorials in Lavera’s name may be made to the First Baptist Church of Walton 47 S Main St, Walton, KY 41094.
