Obituary of Ronald W. "Ronnie" Reed

Ronald W. Reed, age 79, of Walton, KY, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 at his residence.  He was a retired Foreman of Machine Operators for C.S.X. Railroad and a member of Beaver Lick Baptist Church.  Ronnie enjoyed spending time outdoors farming and working with horses. 

His sister, Remona Moore, preceded him in death.  He is survived by his wife, Verna Brown Reed; children, Ronnetta Sinzinger (Dan), Cheryl Hart, Pamela Tallon (Abe), and Darryl Reed (Debbie); sisters, Janice Reed and Susan Davis; and grandchildren, Jordan Hart, Houston Reed, Nash Reed, and Jessica Tallon. 

A visitation will be held for Ronnie on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with services immediately following at 1 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Walton, KY.  Interment will be at Hughes Chapel Cemetery in Walton.  Memorials may be made to Hughes Chapel Cemetery, 12651 Cleek Lane, Walton, KY 41094.  Online condolences may be expressed to www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
