Gary Arthur Martin, 79 of Union KY, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, April, 18, 2018. He was born to William Arthur Martin and Georgia Martin (nee Carpenter) on June 6, 1938. He was a retired laborer and foreman, of Smurfit-Stone Printing Company, where he worked for 42 years. In his health he enjoyed his family, camping, fishing, wood working, gardening, tinkering around his garage, bluegrass and gospel music.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Mabel Martin (nee Stephenson); his four beloved children Greg (Renae) Martin of Florence, Bryan (Tami) Martin of Taylor Mill, Melinda (Steve) Herrmann of Petersburg, and Amy (Marty) Meyers of Union; his 15 grand-children and 13 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his two adoring sisters Patricia (Jerry) Ziegler of Elsmere and Sue (Joe) Bradshaw of Gallatin TN.

His visitation will be held Sunday, April 22, 2018, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.at Christ's Chapel, 3819 Turfway Rd, Erlanger, KY 41018.  The funeral service will be Monday, April 23, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at the church.  Interment will be at Floral Hills Cemetery in Covington. 

Memorials may be made to Christ Chapel.
