Obituary of Delsie Larison

Delsie M. Harris Larison, age 85, of Morning View, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012, at Florence Park Care Center. A former member of the Eastern Star, she was a homemaker and a member of Oak Island Baptist Church, where she formerly sang in the church choir. Ms. Larison also enjoyed gardening and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her husband, Henry Larison and step-daughter, Donna Pepper preceded her in death. Survivors include her sons, Daniel Larison, Stanley Larison, and Gregory Larison; thirteen grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday from 11AM to 1PM at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence. Funeral services will begin at 1PM. Interment will be at Floral Hills Cemetery.
