Obituary of Margie Stephenson Patterson

Margie Stephenson Patterson, age 93, of Union, KY, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Boone Spring Care Facility in Union, KY.  She was a retired Executive Secretary for the City of Hialeah, FL and a member of Union Baptist Church.  Margie also was a former Real Estate Broker, Librarian in Florida, and taught at New Haven, Burlington, and Florence Elementary in the Boone County, Kentucky schools.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray W. Patterson; son, Stephen Lee Patterson; brother, Albert Stephenson; sister, Shirlee Stephenson; and parents, A.M. and Ida Belle Lizer Stephenson.  Margie is survived by her sons, Thomas Ray Patterson and David Michael Patterson; sisters, Linda Duvall (Jim) and Ruth Clarke; brother, Paul Stephenson; and grandchildren, Eion Patterson and Spring Patterson.  A graveside service will be held Friday, August 28, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Big Bone Baptist Cemetery, 11036 Big Bone Baptist Church Rd., Union, KY 41091.  Memorials may be made to Union Baptist Church, 1985 Mount Zion Rd., Union, KY 41091.  For directions, to leave a message of condolence or to share a memory, please visit www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
