Obituary of Susan Dianne Goldsberry
Susan Dianne Goldsberry, 64, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 in Morning View, KY. Dianne was born in Covington, KY on July 1, 1957 to the late Leslie and Lorraine Babb Lonaker.
Dianne was a retired operations manager from Fidelity Investments. She and her partner Scottie were enjoying retirement and living life together. Dianne loved sunbathing and vacationing to Daytona Beach, FL with Scott. Her family boated at Jamestown Marina on Lake Cumberland for many summers. Dianne enjoyed testing her luck and going to the casino for fun. However, her greatest joy was people. Dianne was the most caring, nurturing, kind soul you would ever meet. One of her greatest passions was caring for others. She loved her family with all her heart and spending time with her grandkids was one of her favorite things to do. Dianne would light up a room and will be missed by so many who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother Tommy Lonaker and late husband Jim Goldsberry.
Those left to carry on her legacy are her loving partner of 21 years, Scottie “Stubby” Stephens; daughters Deanna (David) Mahan, Suzanne (Michael) Rife, Amanda (Justin) Puccini; grandchildren, Brittany Mahan, Ashley Ferrell, David Mahan II, Samantha Rife, Cheyanne Rife, Bailey Puccini, Gabe Puccini, Briar Rife; Great-grandchildren Skylar Ferrell, Arabella Ferrell; siblings Sharon Poe, Michael Lonaker, and many other friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will immediately follow at 7:00 PM.
