Obituary of Bill "Willie" Brown

Bill “Willie” Brown of Morning View, age 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at his home. Willie was born on August 24, 1941 to the late Adrian and Catherine Brown. He retired as the owner and operator of J.B. Trucking and Excavating. Willie was a Master Mason, KY Colonel, and served as a volunteer firefighter in his younger years. He had a passion for tractors, motorcycles, and going racing on the weekends. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. He was a hardworking husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed by many.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Reba Petrey, Shunie Johnson, and Pat Antrobus.

Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Joan Brown; children, Vickie (Joe) MacFarlan, Kimberly (Myke) Mitchell, and LaVesta Domaschko; beloved grandchildren, Sunnie, Brooke, Mackenzie, Dustin, Eric, Dakota, ReAnna, and Reagan; great-grandchildren, Claira, Lakyn, Dawson, Kingston, and Luca; as well as other friends and relatives who will cherish his memory.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike Independence, KY 41051. A masonic service will be held at 12:30 PM and the funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Immediately following the service, Willie will be laid to rest at Independence Cemetery.
