Obituary of Charlie Ball, Sr.
Charles “Charlie” Wayne Ball, age 68, of Jacksboro, TN (formerly of Morning View, KY), passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at his residence. He was a retired Maintenance Tech for Hennegan Company in Florence, KY, a member of Mt. Paran Baptist Church in Jacksboro, TN, and a member of the Bradford Masonic Lodge in Independence, KY. Charlie enjoyed fishing, gardening, attending his children’s and grandchildren’s events and spending time with his family. His parents, Shirley and Dot Riddell Ball, preceded him in death. He is survived by his children, Brian Ball (Terri), Charlie Ball (Cara), and Carrie Mayne; grandchildren, Ethan Ball (Hannah), Shelby Labare (Tyler), Denver Ball (Maggie), Gavin Ball (Kirstin), Charlize Ball, Mitchell Ball, Kamryn Ball, Mia Becerra, Shai Becerra, Leland Mayne, Madeline Cocco, Mollie Cocco, and Mason Cocco; great grandchildren, Haddy, Braxton, Maverick, Briar, and Maya; and siblings, John David Ball (Kathy), Jerry Ball (Nancy), Carl Ball (Kit), Kenny Ball (Janice), Brenda Taylor (John), Barb Wilson (John), and Lois Brueckner (Jonathan). Visitation will be Wednesday, August 24, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 12:00 noon with his funeral service to immediately follow at 12 noon at Chambers and Grubbs, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051. Interment will be at Independence Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Mt. Paran Baptist Church, P.O. Box 532, LaFollette, TN 37766.
