Obituary of Russell E. McIntire

Russell E. McIntire, 83, of Florence, KY, passed away on Wednesday, August 24^th at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. The son of the late Marjorie {Herrick} and Russell F. McIntire, Russell was born in Marion, OH on June 2, 1939.

Russell married the love of his life, Carole {Wainscott}, on September 13, 1959.

A proud and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Russell cherished the time spent with his family. Having a very successful career in sales, Russell retired as a National Sales Manager. Upon his retirement, he continued his diligent hard work and enjoyed contracting and remodeling homes.

He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 63 years, Carole McIntire; daughter Peggy (Stephen) Sorrell; son Russell F. McIntire; and granddaughter Meaghen (Ryan) Sorrell-Noakes.

Russell was preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie and Russell F. McIntire.

A private graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger, KY where he will be laid to rest. Memorial donations may be made in Russell’s name to the St. Elizabeth Foundation in c/o Hospice Programs at 1 Medical Village Drive Edgewood, KY 41017.
