Obituary of Vicki Diane Works
Vicki Works, 61, of Elsmere, KY, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. The daughter of Elvira {Gabbard} and Elbert Deaton, Vicki was born in Campbell County, KY, on February 26, 1961. In her spare time, Vicki enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.
She will be deeply missed by her children, James (Missy Butts) Powell and Angel Powell; Mother Elvira Deaton-Nixon; grandchildren Michael Butts, Blake Powell, Madison Powell, and Shaunice Wade; great-grandchildren Michael Jr. and Graycen; and sister Donna Villari.
Vicki was preceded in death by her father Elbert Deaton.
A visitation will be held between 4 PM and 7 PM on Tuesday, February 28th at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike Independence, KY 41051. Vicki’s funeral service will begin at 12 PM on Wednesday, March 1st at the funeral home. Vicki will be laid to rest at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, KY.
