Obituary of Margaret "Peggy" Freimuth

Margaret “Peggy” Freimuth of Union, age 76, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023. She was born in Cincinnati, OH on September 17, 1946, to the late Ralph and Margaret Pohlman. Peggy retired after many years of working in medical coding and billing. In her younger years, she enjoyed traveling with her husband. She spent her down time reading and doing puzzles. Her greatest joy of all was being a grandmother. Peggy loved attending her grandkids games and events. She was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be missed dearly.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Ricky Freimuth; brother, Tom Pohlman; and her great-grandson, Alexander Freimuth.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Richard Freimuth; daughters, Cheryl Freimuth and Lisa (Mike) Thiele; beloved grandchildren, Alicia Freimuth, Nick (Mia Yarnall) Thiele, Megan (Jeremiah Jennings) Thiele, and Noah Thiele; great-grandson, Hayden Thiele; as well as other friends and relatives who will cherish her memory.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2023, from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 8461 Dixie Highway Florence, KY 41042. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Immediately following the service, Peggy will be laid to rest at St. John Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, KY.
