Diane,
Tom and I are sending our deepest sympathy and
condolences for you and your family. I know it's been many years since we have seen either of you. But we still think of our old school classmates.

We lost a very special friend. Wayne was one of the first people I had the pleasure to meet when I first moved here for Interlake Steel in Newport in 1975. We remained friends for 47+ years which my wife, Kathy, and I will always remember fondly. Socially and professionally, Wayne was always someone you wanted around. Despite our many moves we remained friends and when the opportunity presented, we would get together in our homes or local haunts like Chez Nora's, Drawbridge Inn, Greyhound Grill and other places long gone. Derby parties at the Victor's were Wayne and Diane's special time to shine and future Derby Days will always deserve a toast to Wayne. One funny memory to share was sitting in the Victor's family room watching the Reds win a World Series. Wayne was so excited that he jumped up, popped open a champaign bottle that just happened to be handy, shook it up and sprayed the room, and us. Wayne did love his Cincinnati sports teams. A really good man that we wish we had more time with. May he rest in peace and may the family have peace and pleasure in all of the great times and memories of Wayne.

Q: What did Wayne like to do in their free time?
A: Worked many years at Steel Plant with Mickey. Helen and I became good friends with Mick and Diane. We shared many good times and a lot of laughs. I will miss him greatly!
