Mary Sue Alexander Obituary

Mary Sue Alexander, age 76, of Florence, KY passed away at her home on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.


Mary was born to John and Gladys Hagy in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the youngest of six children. In northern Kentucky, she built a life with her beloved husband, Donald Alexander. It pleased her to welcome family and friends into her home that was comforting and filled with tasty food. She loved the Lord and her family. Her greatest blessings were her three grandsons that brought her so much pride and joy.


In Heaven, Mary Sue is greeted by her parents and all of her siblings; Jim Hagy, Ralph Hagy, Earl Hagy, Judy Smith, and Dane Spivey. She is sharing a warm embrace with her husband, whom she loved so dearly.


Her survivors include her daughter; Donna (Chris) Tanner, her grandchildren; Cole Tanner, Evan Tanner, and Sean Tanner, and many nieces and nephews.


On Tuesday, February 4, 2025 her family will accompany her to Holston View Cemetery in Weber City, Virginia where she will be laid to rest next to her family.
