Obituary of Vicky A. Lohre

Vicky Ann Lohre, 67, passed away suddenly on Sunday February 9, 2025. Born on January 11, 1958 in Cincinnati, OH, she was the daughter of Otis Lee Perry and Shirley Hollingsworth Lemox. Vicky was initially raised in Cincinnati. Her family moved to Walton during her teen years and she graduated from Walton Verona High School. She studied to be and became a nurse’s aide, working most recently at NorthKey Community Care. Vicky’s patients were exceptionally important to her and she cared for them with the biggest heart and kindest hands.

Perennially happy and positive even when she wasn’t having the best day, she was easy to get along with and joy to be around. She was generous and friendly to all. She especially doted on her grandchildren.

Vicky was a beloved mom to Nicole (James) Garrison and Hunter (Caragrace) Lohre; a treasured sister to Rick Perry; dear grandma to Vince, Harper and Remi; adored aunt to numerous nieces and nephews as well as a special cousin to many. She was also a devoted best friend to Susie Wilkerson.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Hollingsworth Lemox, her sister Debra Baioni, her brother Ronald Lee Perry, and her sister in law Candy Petrey Perry.

Please come to the gathering of friends which will be held for Vicky on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 8461 Dixie Hwy, Florence, KY, 41051. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Directly following, a graveside service will be celebrated. Vicky will be laid to rest gently and comfortably at Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY.
