Obituary of Lohoma Fortner

Lohoma Marie Fortner, 73, of Florence, KY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at The Village Care Center in Erlanger. The daughter of the late Shirley {Miller} and Richard Graber, Lohoma was born in Cincinnati, OH on July 18, 1951.

Lohoma had a great love for music, particularly the iconic tunes of the 1950s. Her love for music was not only a personal joy but a gift she passed on to Shannon, who learned much from their mother's musical talents and passion early on. She was known for her warm heart, generosity, and unshakeable love for her family and friends. Lohoma’s vibrant spirit was further reflected in her strong bond with her best friend, Cheryl Murphy, they enjoyed countless hours shopping and sharing moments of laughter. Including Erin Murphy and the rest of her family were very close and cherished.

She will be deeply missed by her children Shannon Fortner (partner, Grace Korley)  and Jeremy Fortner (Grand daughter, Kigen Lori) as  well as a host of extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, her sister Edwina and Steve her first love. Lohoma was preceded in death by her daughter, Lori Fortner.
