
Obituary of Joseph Wayne "J.J." Nicholas
Joseph Wayne “J.J.” Nicholas, age 19, of Union, KY, passed away suddenly in a motorcycle accident on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, in Florence, KY. He had been a Welder for E & P Mobile Welding and was excited about the prospects of his career. “J.J.” never met a stranger, had a big, beautiful smile, and would look you in the eye and give you a handshake you would never forget. He loved hanging out with his friends, working out, and four wheeling with his club members from “ALLZUKEDUP”. He was a planner, with career goals and was family oriented. He is lovingly survived by his parents, Amy Alsip (Chris) and Joseph Michael Nicholas (Shadaya Conigliaro); sister, Addison Nicholas; brother, Peyton Ross; step-siblings, Xander Alsip, Chloe Alsip, Brel Alsip; maternal grandparents, Tony & Sonja Barker; paternal grandmother, Gloria Nicholas; and great grandmothers, Barbara Barker and Jean Dixon. Visitation will be Monday, March 3, 2025, from 10 am to 12 noon with his funeral service immediately following at 12 noon at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 8461 Dixie Hwy., Florence, KY 41042.
