
Obituary of Imogene Fisk
Imogene Fisk, 96, of Crittenden, KY, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, March 27, 2025. She was born in Kenton, KY, on December 26, 1928, to Kathleen {Rose} and Clayborn Ross.
Imogene loved her family and friends, working in her yard, taking care of her home, and her standing hair appointments every Friday. She was a member of St. Matthew’s Church in Kenton, where her festival coleslaw and lemon cake was a main attraction every year.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Fisk; her sisters, Patricia Dark, Mary Alice Brewster, Gerry Turner, and Betty Race; her brothers, Kenneth Ross and Jack Ross; as well as her daughter, Kathy Long. She is survived by her son, Tom Fisk; her grandchildren, Amy (Tommy) Sheehan, Rachel (Ryan) Hunter, Cindy (Steve) Neuhaus, Jeff (Danielle) Long, Tim Long, and and many great and great-great grandchildren who were all so great, special, and awesome to her.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, for both Imogene and her daughter, Kathy, at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence, KY, from 10am - 1pm, with a funeral service officiated by Fr. Straub immediately after. Following the service, a procession will lay Imogene to rest alongside her husband at Independence Cemetery. Family and friends are invited back to the funeral home afterwards for refreshments.
