Kathleen “Kathy” Fisk Long, 76, of Crittenden/Independence, KY, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, in the home of her mother. She was born in Covington, KY on June 26, 1948, to the late Imogene {Ross} and Harold Fisk.
Kathy, who was better known as “Mamaw” by friends, family, and most of Grant County, retired after many devoted years as a cafeteria worker for Grant County Schools. She had an incredibly giving heart and volunteered with her husband, Chuck, at Helping Hands of Williamstown, KY.

Kathy is preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles “Chuck” Long, and father, Harold Fisk. Her mother, Imogene, passed away the following day, nearly 25 hours after Kathy’s passing. She will be deeply missed by her children, Cindy (Steve) Neuhaus, Jeff (Danielle) Long, and Tim Long; brother, Tom Fisk; grandchildren, Samantha (Leslie), Eric, Jennifer, Meghan, David, Chris, Devin, Jadyce, Levi, Tallie, Everley, Mac, Andrew, and Stellyn; and great grandchildren, Benjamin, Emma, and Luke.

Kathy’s grave service will be held at the Veterans Cemetery in Williamstown, KY, Monday, April 7, 2025, at 10am.
