Obituary of John Antony Miller
John Antony “Tony” Miller, age 54, of Elsmere, KY, passed away at his residence on Thursday, April 3, 2025. He was a graduate of Boone County High School (1988), a butcher by trade, and a scrapper by love.
From an early age, Tony was often referred to as “Tony Miller” rather than just “Tony” by many of his family members and close friends. He enjoyed throwing shot darts, collecting Viking memorabilia, and was a San Francisco 49ers fan. Tony Miller was also a member of Bromley Christian Church.
He is lovingly survived by his mother, Margo Grubbs (Mary Lou Maloney); father, John Miller (Linda); siblings, Amanda Marcum (John), Joe Miller, and Elizabeth Bowker (Chris); aunts, Melodee Merrell (Rick) and Connie Crigger; uncle, Terry Grubbs (Gary Colemn); nieces and nephews, Brennon Miller, Colton Miller, Dalton Miller, Easton Miller, Paxton Miller, Dominic Miller, Kaelyn Argullin, and Micah Argullin; great-niece, Charlee Rose Miller; cousin, Holly Biss (Scott); and “Tony’s girls,” Addie Biss, Bria Rose Biss, Teva Bowker, and Zosia Bowker.
Tony was preceded in death by his grandparents, Buddy Grubbs, Sharon Grubbs, John Miller, and Maude Miller, and his uncle (and BFF), Scott Grubbs.
A Celebration of Tony Miller’s Life will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at Bromley Christian Church, 216 Kenton St., Bromley, KY 41016.
Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Bromley Christian Church Food Pantry.
