Kathleen Diane Williams, 62 of Independence, KY entered the gates of Heaven on May 27, 2025.  She was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church for over 20 years.  Kathleen’s faith meant everything to her.  Everywhere she went, the light of Jesus came with her including her mission trips that she went on.  She always put her family and others first.

Kathleen obtained her Associate’s degree from North Central Technical College in Mansfield, OH and moved on to obtain a Bachelor’s degree from Northern Kentucky University.  She was a lifetime Girl Scout and had led her girls’ troops when they were  younger.  Diana and Kate, her daughters, were the joy of her life.  She loved listening to them, as teenagers, play their musical instruments.  Kathleen enjoyed baking.

Kathleen was a simple woman.  She looked more at what was inside a person’s heart rather than their outward appearance.

She is survived by her mother, Patricia Peppard.  Husband, Raymond Michael Williams who loved her unconditionally.  Her daughters, Diana Williams and Kate (Alex) Kincaid.  Brother, John (Tonya) Kidd and sister, Beatrice (Brian) Boss.  Kathleen was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Kidd.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2, 2025 at Oak Ridge Baptist Church, 6056 Taylor Mill Rd, Taylor Mill, KY 41015 from 10am-12pm.  Service will begin at 12pm.  Kathleen will be laid to rest at Floral Hills Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the church.
