Anna Frances Allen Ramsey entered this life on March 7, 1932, in Estill County, KY, the daughter of James and Nettie Allen, and entered eternal life on June 15, 2025 at her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Paul Ramsey to whom she was married for 46 years, and eight older brothers; Howard, Johnny, Jennings, Carvel, Park, Glendon, Ray, and Charles Allen.

She is survived by son Mike (Cindy) Ramsey of Cynthiana, KY, son David (Judy) Ramsey of Georgetown, KY, and daughter, Paula (Mark) Wermuth of Florence, KY, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Also survived by many friends who will miss her very much, especially her stories of growing up on a large farm with those eight older brothers.

Anna was known for her love of life, her quick wit, her wonderful homemaking skills, fantastic recipes, and caretaking skills. She was a strong Christian woman who loved the Lord and was a long-time member of Florence Methodist Church.

To her many friends she was perceived as the ultimate southern genteel lady and it was always clear just how much she loved family and her well-placed pride in them. In her younger days she was always ready to help whomever and wherever she was needed, having tended many family members in their latter days. This was her Christian calling.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 19th, 2025, from 10:30- 12:30pm at Florence Methodist Church, 8585 Old Toll Rd, Florence, KY 41042. Funeral service will begin at 12:30pm. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger, KY.

Memorials in her name are suggested to Florence Methodist Church Building Fund.
