Kevin Ray Hollon, age 60, entered eternal rest on July 16, 2025.

A resident of Taylor Mill, KY and longtime member of Lakeside Christian Church. Kevin will be fondly remembered for his relaxed and goofy personality, holding many memories wearing his favorite Hawaiian shirts. He was a happy man and did not require elaborate happenings. Kevin worked as a Trader for Fidelity Investments and enjoyed assisting the community with their important transactions.

Kevin was devoted to his family and was happy to be around. Some favorite meals were shared at Larosa’s or “the blue restaurant”, Skyline. It always brought a smile to his face to hear his daughter sing with the Cincinnati Symphony. With his friends you could overhear him talking politics. He was up to date and informed on current events.

Kevin liked to watch sports. He rooted on his hometown players including the Reds, Bengals, and University of Kentucky. Travel afforded many memories to the Hollons, including a cruise to Nassau (with his trusty travel guide and sister-in-law), a road trip to Oklahoma bringing home a shining new teardrop camper, and future plans to Seneca Falls.

Kevin is survived by his wife; Linda Hollon (Overton), daughter; Mary Rae Hollon, stepson; Charlie Staverman, mother; Mary Hollon (Linder), sister; Tammy (David) Kahmann, and sisters-in-law; Pam Overton and Patty (Wayne) Platt.

Please join family at a funeral to honor Kevin on Saturday, July 19th at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home 8461 Dixie Highway, Florence, KY 41042 with visitation beginning at 11:00am and service at 12:00pm. Kevin will be laid to rest at Gardnersville Cemetery.
