Rodney was a great man, good friend and valued mentor - he had a smile, a joke or a life experience for nearly every situation. I never felt like he was uncomfortable in any situation, always making others feel welcome and valued. I will miss our talks and visits about basketball and his expectations for the year. His smile and handshake were an awesome reminder for me of how to treat people. He was one of a kind. I will miss him. Prayers with all of his family.

Absolutely great guy. So happy I got to know Rodney over the past few years at Table One (Panera). I’m so going to miss sharing those gym goals and successes along with his expertise on current events. I’m sure you are already debating my father (Pat) regarding his time on a Navy ship, or as you would say “boat”.
RIP, Rodney! Craig Moyer

I've grew up with Rodney and his family. He was always a kind selfless person. One of my first camping trips was with him and his family in a pop up camper. We also borrowed a car hood from the side of his house one winter and used it for a sled, we only flattened 3 mail boxes! You will be missed dearly and always remembered fondly.

It was so heartwarming seeing to see how much happiness and laughter those grand babies brought to Rodney and Bev. I only met Rodney a handful of times at birthday parties and football games, with Zach and Kati. They got a kick out of all Charlie’s shenanigans for sure. It was easy to see how much love and happiness Rodney expressed when he was around them. I am truly sorry for the sadness that comes with losing someone so special to you all. Sending prayers of peace and faith to all of his family and friends. Truly sorry for your loss. Sending prayers of peace and faith to all of his family and friends.
Deepest Sympathy,
Ryan & Jenny Beare
