Alma Faye Sester, age 86 of Union, KY passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, KY.
Alma was born in Clay County to Walter and Mary Pennington. She had retired from Mazak Corporation.
Alma enjoyed baking, spending time with her family and going to church at Big Bone Baptist.
Alma is survived by her children, Deborah Ann Sester (Barry Gruver) and Cecil Wayne Sester and his wife, Jeanne Sester. Also, her grandchildren,Denise Faye Rector, Tiffany Nicole (Tyler) Kolb, Carissa Lynn (Matt Neary) and Adam Joshua Sester. Great Grandchildren, Austin Blake, Cameron Liam Neary, Dominic Tyler and Declan Tucker Kolb.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 8461 Dixie Hwy, Florence KY 41042 from 10am-12pm. Service will begin at 12pm. Burial will immediately follow at Floral Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA, 18901.
