Wendell L. Hartman, Sr., age 84, of Morning View, KY, passed away, Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Signature Healthcare of Carrollton in Carrollton, KY.  He was a retired Truck Driver, who found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially fishing and hunting.  Wendell was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence, Sr. and Ruby Rider; wife, Barbara Hartman; sons, Wendell Hartman, Jr., David Lee Hartman, and James Douglas Hartman; and siblings, Lawrence “Larry” Hartman, Jr., Harry Hartman, Carl Hartman, Madeline “Maggie” Ball, Raymond Hartman, and Jerry Hartman.  He is survived by his special friend and companion of many years, Linda Barrow; children, Rhonda Hartman, Edward (Alice Heeger-Hartman) Hartman, and Brian (Christina) Hartman.  Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  His interment will be at Wilmington Cemetery in Morning View, KY.
