Valerie Lynn Cornelius, 67, of Walton, KY, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY. The daughter of Edwin Cornelius and Margie King, Valerie was born on June 4, 1958, in Covington, KY.

A lover of technology and creativity, Valerie spent countless happy hours on her computer where she enjoyed connecting with the world around her. She also had a true passion for crafting. Whether she was making something beautiful with her hands or sharing her creations with friends and family, Valerie poured love into every project.

Valerie’s legacy will continue through her daughter, Cassie Faehr; her granddaughters, Courtney Faehr and Amber (Hayden) Lawson; and her sisters, Reba Ann Hughes and Teresia Wiley.

She was preceded in death by her father and stepmother, Edwin Cornelius and Mary Ann Cornelius; her mother, Margie King; her sister, Kimberly Mueller; and her brothers, James Watson and Dennis King.
