Rebecca Ann (Piper) Carder, age 68 of Covington, KY passed away unexpectantly on Friday, December 12, 2025. Rebecca, better known as Becky, Rose, Aunt Becky, or Granny, was raised 

in Independence by her parents Palmer and Mabel (Benson) Piper, along with her three brothers. 

She graduated from Simon Kenton high school and worked at ADP as a payroll specialist until retirement. She made many lifelong friends through work. Her family and friends will deeply 

miss her playful spirit and the warmth she shared with everyone around her. Her stepdaughters will miss sharing all the latest gossip with her. Becky and her husband Ira shared a love of dogs and she left behind the sweetest girls, Daisy and 

Bella. 

Becky was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Tim Piper. She is survived by her husband, Ira Carder, her brothers Ron (Neva) Piper and Jeff Piper; her step-children – Kelly 

(Bob) Hasler, Russell Carder and Mary (Jamey) Sipple; her grandchildren – Jaggur, Jerney, Dyllan, Dawson and Alexa; nephew Ryan (Chrissy) Piper and niece Sarah (Kyle) Wojcik and 

great nephew Cort.
