Ljiljana “Ljilja” Rokvić, 56, of Independence, KY, passed away on 02/06/2026. Born on 03/15/1969 in Glamoč, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ljilja was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend who was loved by many.

She is survived by her husband, Zoran Rokvić; son, Mišo; father, Miloš; sister, Biljana; and brother, Duško, as well as numerous other family members and loved ones. Ljilja was known for her kindness, keen intelligence, and thoughtful, organized nature. She greeted everyone with a warm smile and joyful spirit; her sweet, caring presence put people at ease and brightened any room. She cared for her loved ones and took pride in maintaining a warm and welcoming home. Friends and family remember her kindness, laughter, and the way she loved fiercely and unselfishly.

A gathering of friends and family will be held Saturday, 02/14/2026, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, followed by the Funeral Ceremony from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 8461 Dixie Highway, Florence, KY 41042. A Graveside Ceremony will follow at Highland Cemetery, 2167 Dixie Highway, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017, at 12:00 pm.
