Carol Stretcher, 83, of Batavia, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Monarch Meadows Nursing and Rehab in Seaman, Ohio. The daughter of the late Louise {Owens} and Robert Carter, Carol was born in Hamilton, Ohio on April 27, 1942. For more than 20 years, Carol worked as a bartender for Jeff Ruby’s in Cincinnati.

Carol was a true social butterfly whose warm smile and welcoming spirit could light up any room. She had a heart of gold and a kindness that touched everyone she met. Generous, compassionate, and full of life, Carol could make anyone laugh with her wonderful sense of humor. Carol enjoyed watching show tunes, classic musicals, and listening to artists like Frank Sinatra. Family meant everything to Carol. She cherished time spent with her loved ones and created countless memories around the table during her beloved Friday family game nights, always complete with pizza and plenty of laughter.

She will be deeply missed by her children, William (Miki) Antrobus, Sherry (Michael) Reed, and Tina (Rick) Cooper; her grandchildren, Tyler Manley and Lea Antrobus; and her sister, Patricia Johnson.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her sisters, Peggy Black and Vickie J. Pauly.

A Gathering of Friends will take place between 1pm and 3pm on Saturday, February 21st at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike Independence, KY 41051.
