Keegan S. Jones Hurley of Covington, age 34, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. He was born in Cincinnati, OH on October 14, 1991. He graduated from Simon Kenton High School and worked in the maintenance department for TANK. Keegan enjoyed spending most of his time with friends and family or playing video games. He was very smart and quick witted- which gave him the upper hand at brain games and made him likely to use sarcasm. When he was younger, he learned to play piano and took lessons in glassblowing amongst other arts. Keegan was talented and had a huge heart. He believed in standing up for others when they needed help. He loved World of Warcraft, Pokémon, Star Wars, studying Vikings, and listening to the Beatles. His sweet, quirky presence will be missed beyond measure by those who loved Keegan. 

Survivors include his loving parents, John Hurley, Jr. and Melissa Jones White (William K.); siblings, Kyle Jones Hurley (Ania Zmyslo), McKenna Jones Collins, and Grady Jones Collins (Sydney Burkhardt); maternal grandparents, Margretha Helm Jones and Frank Jones (Roseann Rothenbusch); uncles, Dr. Shayne Jones (Angela), Les Hurley (Evelyn), Danny Hurley, and Kevin Hurley (Natalie); aunt, Terri {Hurley} Thompson (Steve); best friend, Nate Edwards; his beloved cats, Fishstick and Snickers; as well as several other close friends and relatives who will cherish his memory.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ada and John Hurley, Sr. of Fairfax, OH.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike Independence, KY 41051. The funeral service will begin at 7:00 PM. Memorial donations can be made in Keegan’s name to the Purrfect Day Cat Cafe in Covington, Kentucky.
