Michael David Ott, 74, of Morning View, Kentucky, formerly of Georgetown, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Delhi Post Acute Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Home. The son of the late Frank and Virginia {Kearns} Ott, Michael was born in Cincinnati, OH, on November 18, 1951. Michael built a successful career in sales, and he proudly served his community as a volunteer firefighter. Outside of work, Michael found happiness reading a book and cheering on his beloved UK Wildcats through every season. He also had a special place in his heart for any animal.

Michael will be deeply missed by his loving children, Caitlin Ott and Weston Ott; brother, Thomas Ott; nephews, Chad Terry, Beau Terry, and Nic Ott; half brothers, Frank W. Ott, Jr. and George C. Ott; nieces, Emily Harrison, Amy Young, and Heather Conn; and former wife, Lynda {Clingerman} Ott.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his sister, Sue Ann Traylor, and his sister-in-law, Jeanna Ott.
