Mary Tuttle (née Fulcher), age 72, of Covington, Kentucky, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully in her sleep on Saturday morning, June 27, 2026.

To know Mary was to know joy in motion. She possessed an infectious energy that drew people to her, and her radiant smile could brighten any room. She genuinely loved people and had a remarkable gift for making them feel seen and valued. Mary was deeply patriotic, loved her country, and carried a special pride in her father's military service. With thoughtful questions and a listening ear, Mary had a way of helping others open their hearts, and she almost always knew the exact words of encouragement or wisdom they needed. She was deeply empathetic, treasured meaningful relationships, and delighted in giving sentimental gifts. In fact, if she found something she loved, she often bought two—already thinking of the next person who would enjoy it just as much.

Mary lived life enthusiastically and never wanted to watch from the sidelines. She was happiest in the middle of the action, embracing every opportunity that came her way. An adrenaline junkie at heart, she eagerly sought out the tallest, fastest roller coasters and carried a healthy fear of missing out on life's adventures. Her high-energy personality was evident in everything she did. Even at work, her efficiency was legendary, with supervisors often moving her to the next task because she finished the last one so quickly.

A devoted woman of faith, Mary was an active member of the women's ministry at Lakeside Christian Church for many years. She faithfully participated in Bible studies, church workdays, and the children’s ministry, but one ministry held an especially special place in her heart. Within the ministry, Mary served women in the community by preparing hygiene kits and lunches while offering fellowship, prayer, and a welcoming place to share their stories. She introduced and led many to Christ. Women from every walk of life gathered each month, and while Mary gave generously of herself, those closest to her know she always believed she received just as much in return through the friendships, testimonies, and shared faith.

Family was at the center of Mary's life. As the second of seven children, she learned early the value of love, laughter, and togetherness. She carried those values into her own family, becoming a mother who volunteered as a PTA mom, read to children at school, and never missed an opportunity to spend time with those she loved. Family game nights were filled with cards, Farkle, laughter, and “friendly competition.”  That same spirit showed up behind the wheel, where she showed zero patience for traffic or waiting in long lines- another endearing part of the Mary everyone knew.

She enjoyed life's simple moments as much as its adventures. Yet nothing brought her greater peace than the Smoky Mountains. The moment the mountains came into view, radio playing her favorite Christian or Country music, you could see her entire demeanor change. They filled her soul in a way no other destination ever could. In recent years, illness demanded Mary to slow down, something that did not come naturally to someone who loved being constantly on the go. It was especially difficult as the people and activities she cherished became less accessible. Yet even through those challenges, never complaining, she made her Women’s Bible Study a priority and thrived through volunteerism. Though frustrated by having to accept help instead of giving it, Mary remained steadfastly optimistic. She was the very definition of a "glass-half-full" person, continually expressing gratitude and reminding others that, despite her own struggles, someone else always had it harder.

Mary's greatest legacy is not found in the places she visited or the things she accomplished, but in the countless lives she touched through her kindness, generosity, unwavering faith, and remarkable ability to make every person she met feel important. She leaves behind a family, church community, and circle of friends who will forever carry her love, her laughter, and the light she brought into every room.

Mary was welcomed into Heaven by her parents; Roy and Virginia Fulcher, and her sisters; Mia and Audrey.

Surviving Mary is her husband; Jeff Tuttle, daughters; Cait Eder, Michelle Mueller and  Kim Clem. Siblings; Patricia, Janie, Roy, and Carol, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
