David Stanley Hall, 67, passed away at his home on June 29, 2026 after many years of heart complications.

David was born on August 6, 1958, to Betty Jo and Daniel Hall. He proudly served his country in the United States Army before spending most of his career in the concrete industry, retiring after many years with Tru Wall Concrete.

David was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lisa Hall; his parents, Betty Jo Hollopeter and Daniel Hall; and his brother, Daniel (Steve) Hall.

David is survived by his daughters, Tiffany (Luke) Cole and Katelyn (Wess) Burroughs; his cherished grandchildren, Zoe, Jaxon, Alexis, and Kaidence; his sisters, Deanna (Maury) Damon and Denise (Jerry George) Dungan; his brother, Doug (Donda) Hall; and six nieces, one nephew, many great neices, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

To know David was to know someone who truly never met a stranger. He could start a conversation with anyone, and by the time it ended, they felt like an old friend. He loved to tell stories, and if you had somewhere to be, you probably weren’t leaving anytime soon. But those stories always came with laughter, wisdom, and a genuine interest in the people around him.

If someone needed help, David was there. He had a way of finding the people who needed him most, and he never looked the other way. Whether it was offering a helping hand, sharing what he had, or simply taking the time to listen, he gave freely because that’s just who he was. He had one of the biggest hearts you’ll ever find.

He loved fishing, spending time at Lake Cumberland, searching for unique rocks, watching anything sports related (even those “Bungles”), and traveling. He found beauty in places and things that others often overlooked, and he had a way of helping others appreciate them too.

While David loved many things, nothing compared to the love he had for his family. His daughters were his greatest pride, and becoming “Papaw” was the greatest joy of his life.

His granddaughter, Kaidence, was his world. If she was playing softball, he was there. He never missed a chance to watch her do what she loved, traveling wherever the game took them. He celebrated every hit, every catch, and every milestone with a smile that only a proud Papaw could have. If you spent more than a few minutes talking with David, chances are you were going to hear about Kaidence. She wasn’t just his granddaughter; she was his greatest joy.

The world feels a little quieter without David in it. His stories, his laugh, his kindness, and his willingness to help anyone will be deeply missed. Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing that the love he gave so freely lives on in all of us. His legacy isn’t found in the years he lived, but in the lives he touched, the friendships he made, and the family he loved with his whole heart.

A funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, 205 Eibeck Ln, Williamstown, KY. Memorial donations can be made in David's name to Shriners Children's by clicking here.
