Marc S. Damico Obituary

Marc Steven Damico, 69, of Walton, Kentucky, passed away on July 3, 2026.


Marc was the beloved son of the late Victor Clarence Damico and Shirley Ethel Pritchard Damico. He built a successful career as an engineer, first with AT&T and later with Cincinnati Bell, where he was respected for his dedication, work ethic, and technical expertise. Throughout his life, Marc was known as a hard worker who took great pride in providing for his family.


For 43 wonderful years, Marc shared a loving marriage with his wife, Mary Damico. Their love story began when they were very young, and together they built a life centered on faith, family, and unwavering devotion to one another.


Marc was a proud father to his son, Andrew (Megan) Damico, and his daughter, Emily (Tara) Damico. Nothing brought him greater happiness than being "Grandpa" to his three granddaughters, Isabella, Olive, and Eleanor Damico. He treasured every opportunity to cheer them on from the sidelines at their sporting events, creating memories they will carry with them forever.


Marc is also survived by his sister, Jenny (Doug) Baker; his brothers, Bruce Harris and Mike (Barbara) Harris; Sister-in-laws and Brother-in laws, Margie (Ric)Grome, Don (Kathy) Kiely, Ed (Janie) Kiely, Bob (Cindy) Kiely, Patty (Bob) Ayers and Chris (Laura) Kiely. along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and dear friends who will miss him greatly.


Marc attended St. Cecilia Catholic Church. He lived a life guided by faith, humility, and love for those around him. In his younger years, he found peace and enjoyment fishing, a pastime he dearly loved even after health challenges prevented him from continuing in later years. He liked playing the guitar and loved music.


Marc will be remembered for his quiet strength, steadfast work ethic, deep love for his family, and the joy he found in spending time with those he loved most. His legacy lives on in the family he cherished and the countless lives he touched through his kindness and devotion.


He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.


Visitation will be Friday, July 10, 2026 at St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, 5313 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051 from 10am-12pm.  Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12pm. Burial will immediately follow in St. Cecelia Cemetery.
