Obituary of Nelda F. Lawson Yates

Nelda F. Shields Yates, 75, of Hot Springs, Ark., formerly of Kenton County, died Monday at her home.
She was a homemaker and a volunteer with Hot Springs Senior Companions. Her husband, Emmitt Yates, preceded her in death.
Survivors include daughters, Debby Trinkler of Independence, Kathy Whitehead, Robin Lawson and Patty Sotack, all of Hot Springs; a son, David Lawson of Independence; a sister, Gail "Sug" Cuneo of Petersburg; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hebron Lutheran Cemetery. Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence, is handling arrangements.
