Obituary of Alvera Beatrice Stroer

Alvera Beatrice Reed Stroer, 80, of Florence, formerly of Independence, died Thursday at Florence Park Care Center.
She was a cashier retired from Roxie's Store, Independence, and a member of Taylor Mill Church of Christ and the Irish Rovers. Her husband, Edward Stroer, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Charles Stroer of Covington; a daughter, Kathy Eggleston of Covington; a brother, James Reed of Elizabethtown; sisters, Florence Cannon of Cincinnati, Dorothy Ellis of Covington, Margie Setters of Piner, and Betty Moore of Park Hills; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. today. Burial will be in Mother of God Cemetery, Latonia.
