Obituary of Melvin Crawford

Melvin Crawford Sr., 72, of Covington, died Wednesday at his residence. He was a retired laborer from Liberty Cherry and a member of True Vine Fellowship, Independence. Survivors include sons, Melvin Crawford Jr. of Cynthiana, Clay Crawford of Falmouth, Mark Crawford and William Crawford, both of Mount Olivet, and Greg Crawford of Clinton, Tenn.; daughters, Marie Koch of Covington and Rebecca Fey of Latonia; sisters, JoAnn Sutherland of Providence, N.C., and Dorothy Schell of Mount Vernon; and 16 grandchildren. Revised Information: Services will be at 12:00 Noon Wednesday at Chamabers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will begin there at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Independence Cemetery. Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence, is handling the arrangements.
