Obituary of Elbert Elmer Wayman

Elbert Wayman, 79, of Independence, died Friday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington.
He was a retired employee of Cincinnati Bell, and a member of Independence Christian Church, Bradford Star Post No. 493 and Bradford Masonic Lodge No. 123. He was a Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Bettie Nix Wayman; daughters, Deborah Howarth of Walton, Regina Moses of Independence and Becky Everhart of Gallatin County; a son, Ken Wayman of Pendleton County; a brother, Aaron Wayman of Independence; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
