Ronald Douglas May, 69, of Covington, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012 at his home. He was a self-employed general contractor & pipefitter. Ronnie served our country in the United States Marine Corp, was an avid history enthusiast, & enjoyed collecting, flea markets, hunting, and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Sarah Elizabeth Menefee May of Covington; sons, Robert Stucker of Covington & John Menefee of Burgin; sisters, Norma Peare of Covington, Geneva Fleek of Covington and Carol Kerl of Florence; grandchildren, Heaven Menefee of Ludlow & Jonathan Menefee of Morning View; 10 nieces & nephews & 11 great-nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lora H. & Hazel (Cleveland) May & brother, Loran May. Visitation will be Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence. Graveside service & burial will follow at the Kentucky Veteran's Cemetery North of Williamstown at 2:00 PM. Memorials may be directed to the May Family c/o Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051.
