Obituary of Robert Lee Shinkle

Robert Lee Shinkle, 75, of Boone County, died July 20 at VA Medical Center, Cincinnati. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, and a member of Bullitsburg Baptist Church and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Anna "Annie" (Kimmich) Shinkle. Survivors include a sister, Berneece Craddock of Florence; brothers, Samuel Shinkle and Junior Shinkle both of Indiana; sons, Michael Shinkle of Florence, Curtis Shinkle of Hebron and Neal Shinkle of Casa Grande, Ariz.; daughters, Marcia Lilly of Florence and Tina Shinkle of Burlington; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Services were private and held at the convenience of the family. Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence, is handling the arrangements.
