James Eugene Lyons, 79, of Florence passed away Wednesday April 6th, 2011 at Florence Park Nursing Home. He was a retired sales man for Clow Corporation. He was a Navy and Air force veteran of the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his daughter Shirley Brown 2010; brothers Clifford Jr. 1945; Harry 1993; Doug 2007; and his sister Anna Lyons. Survivors include daughters Debra (Larry) Luebbe of Florence and Phyllis Lyons of Florence; son William Lyons of Greendale, IN; sister Lana (Pete) Feeback of Cincinnati; grandchildren Tina Williams, Jaime Sexton, Nicole Teten, James Bradley Lyons, Natasha Lyons; Great-grandchildren Justin Mefford; Makenzie Williams, Kayla Teten, Casey Teten, Cody Teten; one great-great grandchild Caylee Mefford and all of his nieces that loved him so much. Visitation will be Saturday April 9th, 2011 from 1PM until the time of service at 3PM at Chambers and Grubbs Florence. Burial will be private at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association P.O. Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090.
