Obituary of Harry Huff

Harry Gayle "Gus" Huff, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend died Sunday, August 14, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. He was 69 years of age and a lifelong resident of Hamilton, Kentucky. Gayle was a farmer, retired railroad brakeman and conductor, and loyal member of Boone-Union Masonic Lodge 304. Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, Charlotte A. Huff of Hamilton, KY; daughters, Sandra G. Forsyth of Irvine, CA and Mary A. Texter of Erlanger, KY; sons, William V. Huff of Phoenix, AZ, Harry G. Huff, Jr. of Hamilton, KY and John E. Huff of Normansville, KY; five grandchildren, Ian Forsyth, Madeline Texter, Jackson Huff, Owen Texter, and Noah Huff; and sister, Wilma R. Linn of Knoxville, TN. Visitation will be Saturday, August 20, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Big Bone Baptist Church. Masonic services will begin at 12:30pm. Funeral services will immediately follow. Burial will be at Big Bone Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Big Bone Cemetery, 11036 Big Bone Church Road Union, KY 41091.
