Edward “Eddie” Francis Abner, 84, of Union, KY passed away on Sunday, August 13th, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. The son of the late JB and Beatrice {Chenault} Abner, Eddie was born in Pine Ridge, KY on August 22nd, 1938. He proudly served in the United States Army and retired from a career as a Regional Sales Manager for Trailmobile.

Eddie was a member of Union Baptist Church for over 30 years. In his younger years, Eddie enjoyed golfing as often as possible. He also loved vacationing to many destinations with his beloved wife, Suzanne. Those who know and love Eddie will remember him as a soft-spoken man who was loving and kind to all who knew him.

He will be deeply missed by his wife of 56 years, Suzanne “Susie” Abner; stepson Anthony Savelli; several step-grandchildren and great grandchildren; and his dogs, known as his precious girls, Sara and Cali.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepson Jeffrey Savelli and his brother Louis Abner.
