Richard Curtis Strese of Florence, age 64, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, KY. He was born on March 27, 1959, in Michigan City, IN to the late Arlene and Curtis Strese. Richard had recently retired as an expeditor and driver for CS Express, and spent a lot of his time collecting, restoring, and selling clocks which was something he was passionate about. He also loved traveling, attending auctions, listening to Kid Rock, and spending time on the road. Richard had a great sense of humor and a youthful soul. Even in the hardest of times, he still found strength to make others laugh. Richard was a beloved husband and dad who will be missed beyond measure.

He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Clarita Strese; children, Ashley Ashcraft, Chelsea Ashcraft, Jhust (Tiarra Simpson) Argenio, Pongo Strese, and Nikki (Camden Steel) Strese; and his grandchildren, Nash and Rush; beloved family dog, Cracker the Yorkie; as well as other friends and relatives who will cherish his memory.
