George Edward Dunn, age 78 of Morning View, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2012 at his home. He retired from Conrail as a railroad engineer in 1996, a US Army veteran, a member of Morning View United Methodist Church, Bradford Lodge #123 and the Scottish Rite. George was also a former board member of Kentucky Farm Bureau. He is preceded in death by his sister, Norma Jean England in 1985. He is survived by his loving wife, Martha Williams Dunn, daughters, Cynthia Dunn Spivey of Satellite Beach, Fl., Laurie Wolsing of Morning View and Donna Dunn of Maryville, Tn., son, Jeffrey Dunn of Morning View, sister, Deborah Endress of Independence, grandchildren, Nicholas Wolsing, Ashleigh Dunn, Jeffrey Dunn, Jr. and Patrick Spivey. Services will be held at Chambers & Grubbs Independence. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm. Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Funeral services will be 10:30 am. Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Memorial donations may be made to: Morning View United Methodist Church, 4006 Rich Rd., Morning View, Ky. 41063 or Hospice of the Bluegrass, 7388 Turfway Rd., Florence, Ky. 41042
