Richard "Richie" Williams, 41, of Independence passed away Saturday June 16th 2012 at his home. He worked at International Paper as a press operator. Richie enjoyed music, going to concerts, collecting knives, Duke Blue Devils, San Francisco 49ers and the Chicago Cubs. He is survived by his mother Sharon Landers of Florence; Father Rich Williams of Erlanger; Step parents Gordon and Brenda Landers of Independence; Son Braxton Woollum of Independence; Sister Kim (Eric) Dorning of Union; Step-sisters Sue Embry of Covington; Kathy Kittrell of Pensacola, FL; Donna Faher of Independence; Step-brother Wayne Landers of Independence; Nieces Kayla, Skylar, and Bryonna Dorning and nephew Knox Dorning.
Visitation will be Friday June 22nd 2012 from 2 PM until 4PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home Florence. Funeral service will be at 4PM at the Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in Union Rice Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be directed to the family of Richard Williams in care of Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home.
