Obituary of Edward Clinkenbeard

Edward L. "Boo" Clinkenbeard, age 83, of Atwood, KY, died Saturday, August 11, 2012, at his residence. He was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator for the Kenton County Highway Department, drove a water truck for 32 years and was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Clinkenbeard was an active man who was known & loved by many. He enjoyed farming, motorcycles, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends. His wife, Grace Joyce Clinkenbeard and granddaughter, Amy Clinkenbeard, preceded him in death. Survivors include his son, Nelson (Julie) Clinkenbeard; daughters, Donna (Rick) Pryor and Rebecca (Scott) Cordle; brother, James Clinkenbeard; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 14, 2012 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Crittenden Cemetery.
