Obituary of Garnal Harry Glacken

Garnal Harry Glacken, age 79, of Walton, KY, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017 at his residence. Garnal was owner and operator of Glacken Refrigeration Service. He was a US Navy Veteran, a member of the Walton American Legion Post #277, the Good Guys Club and the First Baptist Church of Walton. He enjoyed his work, socializing and helping others. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Mary Glacken and a brother, Howard Glacken. Garnal is survived by sons, Gary Glacken (Patty) and Darin Glacken (Christina), a sister, Ruth Meadows, a brother, Dennis Glacken, grandchildren, Ryan and Bryce Glacken, Shannon Cheney, a step-granddaughter, Jenelle Hamlett and 4 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will take place at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown, KY on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 2 PM where he will be interred. Memorial donations are suggested to the American Legion Post #277, 415 Jones Road, Walton, KY 41094. Friends and family are invited to the American Legion Post #277 afterwards for food and fellowship.
